  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 box powdered sugar (16 ounces)
  • 1 stick salted butter, melted (8 tablespoons)
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9"x13" baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, one egg, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish as the crust.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add two eggs and vanilla extract; beat until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and then melted butter until fully blended.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
