  • 2 teaspoons (10g) salt
  • 1 3/4 cups (415ml) warm water
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves
  • Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour and salt together. Combine with yeast mixture and olive oil to form a sticky dough.
  3. On a floured surface, knead dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Deflate and spread dough onto an oiled baking sheet; create dimples with your fingers. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Drizzle olive oil over dough, sprinkle with sea salt and rosemary, then bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
