  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 2/3 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons shortening

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until creamy. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar until well combined, then spread over the crust.
  4. Melt semi-sweet chocolate with shortening in short bursts in the microwave; pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
