  • 1 cup White granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 3 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 can Pumpkin puree (15oz can)
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 oz Cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 TBSP Unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, sugars, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For frosting: Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk to achieve desired consistency.
  7. Allow bread to cool completely before frosting.
